We've brought back the Ladybird brand but there are some more ladybirds that need our help. British ladybirds are under threat from harlequin ladybirds, which eat British ladybirds and the food they rely on.

We've partnered with the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology to help them keep tabs on the harlequin and the British ladybirds they threaten. You can help by seeking ladybirds out in your garden and reporting what you find.

For more information about ladybirds and a wall chart to help you track your sightings, download our "Little Ladybird Spotter Pack".

If you are out and about and spot a ladybird, text the word.

Ladybird to 83040

and we'll send you a link to upload details of your spot as well as your photos.

Otherwise, you can record your sighting online.

Here's how to tell the harlequin ladybird from a common British ladybird

British ladybirds are often smaller than the harlequin ladybird and come in lots of varieties. They eat garden pests so most people love British ladybirds

The harlequin ladybird is bigger than most British ladybirds and often has 16 or more spots.

And then there's the Ladybird range that we've recently saved by bringing Ladybird back to Woolworths.co.uk. These Ladybirds come in all shapes and sizes. Spot the full range here.

Here's just a few other British ladybirds to look out for
