Woolworths would like you help in designing the their Easter logo.

When we relaunched in June last year, we unveiled a new logo. The double ‘oo’ within this logo appears in many different guises including a beach ball and dice, an umbrella and pair of wellingtons, two wheels of a bicycle and at Christmas, our lovely snowmen, Stan and Ollie Snow.

Now we’d like your help designing decorated eggs which will feature as the double “oo” in our logo in the run up to Easter.

“We want families to get together and get painting, but not just any old painting, we want them to paint eggs for our Easter logo and then send us pictures of their creations,” says Matthew Jacques, Head of Brand.

So let your imaginations run wild and paint eggs in brightly coloured, eye-catching designs, then post a photo of your creations (on a white background) onto our Facebook page.

Entries will be judged by a panel of experts from Woolies Design Team and the winning entry will be transformed into the Easter logo, which will appear on the website from Thursday 25th March 2010.

Only one application (of two decorated eggs) per child is allowed. Closing date for entries is Monday 22nd March 2010. The winner will receive an arts and crafts goody bag in addition to having their eggs made into the Woolworths Easter logo.
